Attention Please!
It is that time again,
Reorganization Meeting!
But first, I would like to thank each and everyone for all the hard working that was done for 2004 Election. We are winners, we gave our State to Kerry.
Now down to business, the Reorganization meeting will be held Dec. 11, 2004. Time: 10:00am. Place: Mommy Yum Yum, 356 Basic St. N,W. Epharta,WA. The agenda to re-elect new Officers for the next 2 years for the 13th L.D.( Grant, Kittitas, Yakima)
Our Goals are to prepare for the 2006 election. We have to keep Sen. Cantwell in Office! We have to start NOW to get some one to run for the Senate in our State. And if Dale Hubbard runs again we will help him!
All are invited, however only the PCO's elected at the Sept. 17th Election will be able to vote. But we would love to to see everyone and anyone who would be interested in being a candidate. (call me 509-925-7858). We have two candidates, One for State Committe Women, Anabel Romero-Juarez; and State Committee Man, Stefan Kalb. So please we have the Chair, Vice-Chair, Sec., Treasurer. We would like to have someone from each Co. to be one of the Officers have been your Chair for the last 4 years, of which I have enjoyed very much. I would like to see new and young blood step up. I have appreciated all the help that you have given. I have enjoyed meeting all of you, and have made new friends.

Election 2004
The 2004 Election year is upon us! Here is what is in store:
July 10th, 2004 - 13th District Democrats General Meeting September 11th, 2004 - 13th District Democrats General Meeting October 9th, 2004 - 13th District Democrats General Meeting November 13th, 2004 - 13th District Democrats General Meeting January 8th, 2005 - 13th District Democrats Reorganizational Meeting
All meetings are held at ELLENSBURG INN, 1700 Canyon RD.Ellensburg,WA. Time: 10:00am.
Be on the lookout for an upcoming Fundraiser in August or September. We're fighting an uphill battle, and we need all the input we can get!
From the Chair:
I would like to thank everyone who worked on our May 15th, 2004 Trashathon and Pot Luck Fundraiser. A special thanks goes to the following candidates that spoke at our lunchoen;
Sandy Matheson, and
Richard Wright, both candidates for Congress for the 4th C.D.; Dale Hubbard, 13th L.D. candidate for the State House of Representatives, position #1,; and David Bowen, candidate for Kittitas County Commissioner.
Thank you to all the participants that picked up trash, and a thanks to all that came to our luncheon and donated. Additional thanks go to: Gloria Beckely, Donna Becker, Stephanie Hubbard, Colin & Margaret Condit, Eileen Stokes, Tom Leahey, Katie McCarthy, Stefan kalb, Helen Wise, Mel Van Houton, Jessica Winebarger, and Chak Pettingill, for your help in setting up, cleaning up after the event or helping to do the cooking. I hope I didn't leave anyone out, if I did please know that your efforts were appreciated.
