Important Deadline:

Candidates for office are welcome to submit their KCDCC Candidate Questionnaire. Many of our Legislative District organizations require this questionnaire for their own endorsement process. Please send them directly to our Chair, Steve Zemke, and our Webcrafter, Chad Lupkes.

PCO Filing in 2012

Our party builds itself from the grassroots fresh every election cycle, and that begins with the election of PCOs in the August Primary. This will be a mostly online process with King County Elections, conducted at the same time as all other candidate filing during the week of May 14th through May 18th. Whether you intend to file or not, we need to know. Please get in touch with Richard Champion and your Legislative District Chair.

Redistricting

The Washington State Redistricting Commission has completed their work, and the proposals for Legislative Districts and Congressional Districts will be submitted to the Legislature on January 9th. The map below is the Legislative District map centered on King County. You can zoom in and out to view your Legislative district and see where you landed for the next 10 years.
